Mrs. Swan — thought-transmission contact with 'outer space' — Navy/FBI interest

The FBI Cincinnati office documented information from Navy Bureau of Aeronautics security officer John Hutson, who had unofficially investigated claims by Mrs. Frances Swan of South Berwick, Maine, a civilian reportedly receiving thought-transmissions from entities on spacecraft designated 'M-4' and 'L-11.' Retired Admiral Knowles had brought the matter to the attention of the Director of Naval Intelligence. The claimed vessels were described as 150 miles wide, 200 miles in length, with approximately 5,000 subsidiary 'mother ships' protecting Earth from atomic bomb damage. A Canadian government physicist, identified as Smith, was also present. FBI shared information with Air Force OSI and Army G-2; no further action was taken.
